Food Review: Bistro Richard at Sentul KLPac

January 20, 2015

Daytime, when you sit at the beautiful Koi ponds, feel the wind blowing, look at shiny colourful koi swimming in the pond, enjoy wine and good food, what's a beautiful picture! I bet all of you wish to enjoy your dining experience like this right? This time i would explore this hidden gem to you all =)

Bistro Richard is such a hidden gem tucked away from the bustle of KL city, amidst the limited F&B scene around KLPac at Sentul (Kuala Lumpur Performance Art Center). You can search "KLPac" in GPS instead of Bistro Richard. Bistro Richard opened its doors in April 2013, armed with Chef Richard Low ’s cullinary experience spanning over three decades.
Night time, Bistro Richard turn itself to a romantic gentleman XD.Bistro Richard served a classic European menu, so interior design is goes to typical European bistro and ideally for family-style dining as well as romantic dining. Heard the staff said, there are quite a lot of couples come here for wedding purpose.
Variety of wines and beers from around the globe are on the rack,Tiffany stained-glass lamps is their eye-catching decoration and this is their signature things of traditionally styled design.
As Chef Richard himself puts it, “Satisfaction has a flavour.” He used the freshest ingredients and choose the best of seasonings from here or Spain to make dishes, cooking with fresh herbs because Herbs can magically flavor up dishes without resorting to loads of salt, butter, and cheese.
Our starter is Escargot        RM28.00
Oven baked escargot with garlic butter.
Creame of Wild Mushroom         RM18.00
Homemade soup with wild mushroom served with garlic baguette, thick soup and i can the deep savoury taste of it.

 Seafood Paella RM85.00
This is my favorite Paella that i had! Kind of different style with other Spanish cuisine, seafoods like mussels, prawns, squids occupied 70%, i feel the magic of fresh herbs when i eat it, soooo nice!
 Coq Au Vin RM38.00

Braised chicken cooked with red wine burgundy, bacon, mushroom and broccoli. Hmm... i can't really taste the wine.

Roasted Salmon RM48.00
Tender juicy salmon with lemon butter sauce, served with steam vegetables & mashed potato. Highly recommend this to you, mashed potato is taste milky so if you are dislike milk taste like my mother, better don't take this.
Braised Lamb Shank RM68.00
Served with garlic herb crust, risotto and broccoli. Lamb shank is so good so tender so juicy, aww...i can't say anything LoL!
Crème Brûlée RM17.00
Hardly i find a creme brûlée smoother than Taufu, this Creme Brûlée taste is superb! Strongly recommend this as dessert, i went Bistro Richard again last Sunday because of Creme Brûlée hehehe!
Thanks to Foodink and Mr Richard for having us, Mr Richard is a very friendly talkative person,we enjoyed the night!
